Rwanda is located in the East of Africa, one of the smallest countries in Africa but a very popular tourism destination. It is one of the few places in the world where you can watch gorillas in the wild and up-close in an activity commonly known as gorilla trekking.   • Akagera National Park 

 This is a popular natural biodiversity area of the big five (lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards and buffaloes). It is the only place where you can go game driving since it is the only savannah park in the country. While on the game drive, the visitor is likely to catch up with the big five and other animals like giraffes, antelopes, hyenas, warthog, elands and so many bird species.   • Nyungwe Forest National Park 

This is a large montane forest and one of the oldest in Africa. It is known as the capital of small primates in Rwanda. It has 13 different species of primates for example blue monkey, Angolan colobus, black and white monkey, pottas monkey, baboons and chimpanzees to mention but a few. The most outstanding specie of these primates is the chimpanzees. Tourists normally visit this eco forest park to watch the chimpanzees in the wild. Chimpanzees are one of the closest cousins of mankind in the animals with a 98% DNA similarity. The chimpanzees are shrewd animals and their social characters are very enthralling and mind blogging when watching them. while on a self drive safari in Rwanda, Nyungwe forest national park should not miss out on bucket list.   • Kigali City 

Kigali is the capital city of Rwanda. One of the cleanest and fastest developing areas in Africa. It is an area with some history and infrastructural structures to experience on a Rwanda self drive. In Kigali, travellers visit Kigali genocide memorial centre, the parliament, the presidential palace, the market place and and different cultural and art centres. Kigali also has different recreation places like pubs and clubs, restaurants and elegant hotels.
