Our 10 Days Best of Rwanda Wildlife Tour will take you to the best of Rwanda conservation areas, visiting several conservation areas in search of wildlife, from our handpicked routes you will visit Akagera National Park for the so called big five of the ecosystem(Leopards, lions, African buffaloes, Rhinos, elephants), these have historically earned the name the big five because of their strong nature, we will visit the home of Mountain gorillas, Gorilla beringei beringei, and Golden monkeys, the blend of primates to the other African animals is amazing and an angelic way of witnessing the beauty of the country.

Day 1: Arrival in Kigali
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by a Kigali Car Rentals tour guide who will transfer you to the accommodation that has been booked check-in, and depending on the time you can have a mini Kigali city tour dinner and stay overnight at

Day 2: Transfer to Akagera National Park
Breakfast after which we will transfer to Rwanda’s only savannah park driving for approximately 3 hours drive, passing past the beautiful rolling hills and backdrops of volcanoes in the land of a thousand hills, we arrive at Akagera in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive in the park, expect to see animal species like the zebras, giraffes, waterbucks dinner and stay overnight at

Day 3: Game Drive and Boat Cruise along Lake Ihema
We will drive to the park headquarters after having a meal or coffee, we go looking out for the morning risers especially the cat family like leopards, lions , other animals to see including the elephants, African buffaloes, we return to the lodge for lunch and proceed with our adventure, a boat cruise along Lake Ihema viewing birds of several species. Day 4: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park
We will Transfer to Rwanda’s most biodiverse ecosystem for great adventures, en route we will have lunch in Huye, visit the Rwanda national museum for artefacts that describe the history of Rwanda, collections dating back in time arrive in the evening for dinner, and stay overnight at

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking and Canopy Walk
Early morning tea or coffee, the drive to the park headquarters for the day’s activity, tracking chimpanzees is one of the best things to do, it is amazing to meet a primate that kinda looks like humans, the habituated families jump up and down of trees in the most playful way one hour is allowed to be with the chimps after finding them, we return to lunch and an afternoon canopy walk experience, viewing the forest form the above is super magical

Day 6: Colobus Monkey Tracking and Relaxation
We will have breakfast, just like yesterday, you will drive to the park headquarters to experience the black and white colobus monkeys, following a briefing, you will be led by a park ranger to meet the well dressed up primates in black and white, one hour with them we return to a relaxed evening as we wait for the following day.

Day 7: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Volcanoes national park is home to mountain gorillas, we will take tea and something to eat before we proceed to the park driving past the lovely views of volcanic mountains, for approximately half a day drive we will ariive in the place to find Golden monkeys, dinner and overnight at

Day 8: Gorilla Trekking Experience
Early in the morning, we will wake up to a lovely breakfast time, our driver guide will transfer you to the park headquarters for a check and briefing, after which we will be divided into groups of eight per gorilla family. While taking in the rules and regulations of the gorilla the ranger will lead you to where they suspect the gorilla family will be, the terrain of the park may require some physical fitness, it is tiring doing the activity but rewarding by the time you meet them dinner and staying overnight at

Day 9: Golden Monkey Tracking and Visiting the Gorilla Village
Like the previous day, the driver will drive you to the park headquarters to experience the golden monkeys, they live within the Bamboo forest region of Volcanoes and can only be found in the Virunga region, it is an endemic species, golden monkeys are more playful than the mountain gorillas, you will watch how thy beautiful pile bamboo leaves in their mouths. Upon reaching them, you will be allowed 1 hour to meet them and return. We have evening entertainment from the gorilla village that keeps the Iby’iwacu forest keepers.
Day 10: Departure
We will have breakfast after which we transfer to Kigali to catch our international flight back home.
