Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Akagera national park
Welcome to Rwanda the beautiful land of “a thousand hills.” Our guide/ representative staff will be at the airport to pick you up and transfer you to the city for a quick meal where applicable. After this
you will be transferred to Akagera National Park where you arrive later
that afternoon/evening.

Day 2: Explore Akagera National Park: 5-Day Rwanda Epic Gorilla & Wildlife Safari
Akagera National Park is a Savannah park with Elephants, Hippos, Park Buffaloes and Lions. After an early breakfast we take a game drive in search of these animals, the game drive will take us to the northern
part of the park where most of the animals prefer to inhabit. Enjoy the views of Lake Ihema.

Day 3: Transfer to Volcanoes national park: 5-Day Rwanda Epic Gorilla and Wildlife Safari
We leave for Volcanoes national park from Akagera national park after
breakfast in anticipation of meeting the mountain gorillas. We have views of Lake Kivu with its Islands on our way, arriving at the hotel in the evening. Enjoy the winding roads and scenery along the way.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking in the Volcanoes
Meet the mountain gorillas in the dense jungles of the Virunga ranges. Embark on the trek through the habitat of these enormous animals. Such an unforgettable experience on many peoples bucket list. The trek can last from an hour to four hours depending on where the gorillas nested the previous night – you need to be relatively fit to enjoy this experience.
After this amazing encounter with the gorillas in the Virunga, depart for Lake Kivu. Start journey to Gisenyi town where we have opportunities of visiting the fishing village, hot springs, Gisenyi town and relax at the lakeside in the evening depending on your interests.
