On this 8 Days Exploring Rwanda Wildlife Safari you will have an amazing safari experience as we will be visiting the best conservation areas of Rwanda including the Volcanoes National Park and Nyungwe Forest National Park, the safari presents a chance of meeting big primates like the Mountain Gorillas, and golden monkeys in Volcanoes National Park, and Nyungwe Forest National Park for the canopy walk and tracking black and white colobus monkeys. We will visit Akagera National Park, Rwanda’s only Savannah National Park, to meet wildlife, there is a chance of spotting most of the big five of the wilderness.

Day 1: Arrival in Kigali
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by a Kigali Car Rentals tour guide who will welcome you, depending on the time of arrival, you will go for a Kigali city tour, visiting the Rwanda genocide memorial ground, which signifies where most Rwandans lost their lives during the civil war, take the local market tour and return to the hotel for your dinner and staying overnight at

Day 2: Transfer to Akagera National Park
We will have something to eat after which we transfer to Akagera National Park, which is Rwanda’s only Savannah national park, for wildlife, it is one gazette area where you can meet most of the animals in Savannah parks. We will drive approximately 2 and half hours, arriving in time for lunch and check-in at the lodge. Day 3: Game drives in Akagera National Park
After we have breakfast, we will be transferred to the park for enjoying the wildlife, Akageras most wildlife is concentrated in the North, we drive towards the areas through the game tracks of the park, popular spotting includes hippos, African elephants, lions, giraffes, and Impalas, we return to the lodge for lunch and an afternoon boat cruise along Lake Ihema

Day 4: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park
Nyungwe forest national park is one of the most virgin forests in Africa, it hosts 13 primates species popular for the chimpanzee, we will have breakfast early in the morning after which we shall depart to the conservation area driving through the beautiful tea plantations and the ever-rolling hills of Rwanda, we stop over in Huye for Lunch en-route and visiting the national museum, arriving in the evening in Nyungwe for dinner and stay overnight at

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking and Canopy Walk
Following an early morning breakfast, we will assemble at the visitor center for a morning briefing to meet our close relative Chimpanzee is said to share up to 98% of the human DNA, tracking takes 2-3 hours, the forest has a rich biodiverse number of primates so it is possible to view another type in addition to the chimpanzees, we return to the lodge for lunch and an afternoon Canopy walk, the suspended bridge will offer you the best sceneries in the park, returning for dinner and stay overnight at

Day 6: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
We leave for volcanoes national park after breakfast, it is home to 5 volcanoes that form part of the eighth series of the great Virunga massif region, 2 of these are being shared with Uganda and the democratic republic of Congo we will drive for approximately 5 hours drive to reach the conservation area while enjoying the views of the volcanic mountain drops. Day 7: Gorilla Trekking and Ibywacu Cultural Visit
Morning breakfast after which we will transfer to the park headquarters for gorilla trekking experiences, you will be briefed by a park ranger and divided into groups per gorilla family, upon meeting the mountain gorillas, one hour is allowed while with the species, returning for lunch and a relaxed evening
